Is Enterprise AI really going to replace employees?
The short answer is yes.
The short answer is yes. A more in-depth explanation must begin with not anytime soon.
Based on what I’ve seen:
Non-skilled labor is expected to decline within the next few years.
Low-skilled labor will be augmented with AI assistance for the short term.
High-skilled labor will be augmented with AI assistance for the long term.
Where is change occurring?
Most of the big impact AI projects are within tech companies, banks, and information brokers.
The current areas of staff reduction are in customer service, HR, and IT services.
Sales and marketing activities are the next to become automated.
Here’s Why:
Agentic AI is already replacing repetitive tasks and reducing the need for headcount.
However, AI Assistants are good but still error-prone.
The big issue is that AI Policies are not in place to manage something going wrong.
What to do:
Push for AI Policies within your organization.
Understand the complexities of correcting AI when it becomes problematic.
