The Critical Personalities For High Growth Founding Teams

As a 4x founder, I discovered four critical personality traits that are required for a successful founding team:
1. Communicator
2. Builder
3. Strategist
4. Closer
These qualities could be shared among multiple people or present in an individual. One can tell how well a new company will do based solely on the number of these personality types present at its founding.
Communicator
A strong communicator can easily share the company's vision with everyone involved. After a few minutes with this person, anyone is convinced they are looking into the future. Steve Jobs is the master of this.
Builder
The builder can take the communicator's vision and turn it into reality. The best builders can do this quickly by rapidly learning what they do not know. Jack Dorsey and Steve Wozniak are builders.
Strategist
Seeing how to win is their strong suit. This person watches a sports team and immediately recognizes their weakness. They take the product and position it for the highest probability of rapid growth. Elon Musk and Reid Hoffman are well-known strategists.
Close
Bill Gates and Jordan Belfort come to mind. The closer is the one who can demonstrate the product in such a way that it becomes a must-have for the target audience.
A successful startup must have each personality type to win. Otherwise, it needs to bring on additional founders.
